Introduction: Asymptomatic bacteriuria in pregnancy (ABU) is poorly understood and neglected developing countries. It causes certain lethal maternal fetal consequences if left untreated including low weighted births, premature delivery, full-blown urinary tract infection pyelonephritis.
 Objective: Our aim was to explore such factors having bad impact on associated with asymptomatic aware our community about these unspoken perils so that ABU likelihood may be reduced. Prevalence varies country country. Developing economic countries are suffered more than developed thereby upgrading providing basic amenities of life the risk reduced.
 Materials Methods: This a cross sectional study carried out department pathology PUMHSW. Sample size 377, all selected were 18 years above. All samples collected sterile container labeled immediately transported microbiology laboratory. Dipstick test, wet mount microscopy Gram's staining done. Blood, MacConkey's agar inoculated streaked inoculi. Data analyzed using SPSS version 23.
 Results: Samples found unlabeled (02) contaminated (03) dropped from study. A total 372 samples. The most patients Gram negative 65(90.20%) predominantly Enterobacteriocae. When cultured, 72 growth positive (mixed plus pure) while 300 negative. Risk assayed culture (ABU). large number (74%) belonged lower class. Most common age group varied 26-30 (43%). Third trimester 37 ((49.3%). Gravid (G3 or more) strong 55(73.3%). illiterate 65 (90.27%). past history UTI significant 46(63.88%) anemia statistically insignificant 17(23.61).
 Conclusion: frequent pregnant females significantly increased when compounded by socioeconomic status. Therefore, it necessary for mothers screened ABU. There need rapid reliable screening methods upcoming disease burden can
